Grapevine police investigate teen's death
GRAPEVINE -- An 18-year-old man was found dead in an apartment Thursday morning just hours after his friend saw him alive.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Christopher Hackler of Euless.
Hackler was dead when paramedics arrived at the Ambassador Apartments in the 2400 block of Timberline Drive.
A friend called 911 about 11:50 a.m., reporting that her friend was not responsive.
When paramedics arrived, Hackler was on a couch in a living room, police said.
The apartment was rented by a friend of Hackler, police said.
