What's coming up: Pop music

    Bret Michaels

Michaels has given the world countless moments of guilty pleasure, whether it’s the chorus of Every Rose Has Its Thorn (he told the Charleston (W. Va.) Gazette that the song stemmed from a late-night call to his then-girlfriend in Los Angeles — following a performance in Dallas — when he heard another man’s voice in the background) or turning our stomachs with the VH1 reality series Rock of Love, reportedly in talks for a third season. The 45-year-old singer/songwriter just dropped a new solo disc — Rock My World — in June and will stop by later this year for a spin on Billy Bob’s fabled stage. Tickets for Michaels’ September gig go on sale 10 a.m. Monday at all Ticketmaster outlets.
